"My Children's Ancestors" by R. T. Cross lists Gorham's parents as Theodore CROSS & Susannah Jackman. Most of the info I have on Gorham's siblings come from Familysearch.org, and R. T. Cross / 3 Sep 1793 Christopher Cross, m. Sarah Baily, lived in Wendell NH 1850 / 29 Jul 1795 Polly Cross, [I have no further record] / 30 Jan 1797 Cleaveland Cross, m1, Fanny Woods, m2, Mary Bartlett [1833, Weare NH] / ?? ??? 1800 Betsy Cross, m. Reuben Ephraim Deuel in Philadelphia NY 1820 / 14 Nov 1804 Theodore Cross, m. Harriet Seymore in Philadelphia NY [known children Ann, John, Jane] / 4 Oct 1808 Gorham Cross, m. Sophia Murdock 1831 Utica / ?? ??? ???? Luke Cross [seen in 1820 Philadelphia NY] /

Theodore was the son of John Cross & Martha Hibbard. b. Methuen MA, 25 Aug 1765 John was the son of John Cross & Sarah Peacock. The older John is not of proven origin. Some recent researchers suggest he was the son of George Cross & Mary Story of Ipswich MA. George's origins are even more in doubt.

Judson CROSS -CROSS PAPERS FOUND Posted by: David Arlen Lewis genforum Date: February 9, 2000 at 22:12:38 I have a document dated 4 May 1897 that was written by Mr. Judson N.Cross. It was addressed to his sister Amelia Wilkinson of Daytona Florida. In the letter he mentions another sister Lucy. The letter is basically a genealogy of the Cross Family back to the 1600's Other family names listed in this document are Deuel, Jackman, Burbank, Savery, Adams, Dickinson, Kimball, Hastings, and others. Prove your line to me, and I will be more than happy to give it to you. This is one of many documents that I received in a box of old documents that was purchased at a garage sale in Phoenix, Arizona. I believe this Judson N Cross lived in Minneapolis, Minn. This document contains a wealth of information. It's a researchers dream piece. I'd like to put it in the hands of a family member. Please contact me via E mail at Tuffanuff@aol.com. Happy hunting
