    In Brookfield, on the 24th inst., Mrs. Thankful, relict of the late James Crandall, in the 76th year of her age. Mrs. Crandall was a worthy member of the 3d S. D. B. Church in Brookfield, and bore her last illness with a remarkable christian fortitude without the least murmur or complaint, expressing only a desire to stay until the return of her son (Eld. S. B. Crandall) with whom she lived, who was journeying in the western part of this state.
