Key, Tandy, born 10/29/1754 in Fluvanna County, Virginia; entered service 1777 in Buckingham County, Virginia, where resided; moved to Fluvanna County, virginina, where he entered service; moved to Albemarle County, virginia, thence 1814 back to Fluvanna County, Virginia, where he purchased plantation; pensioned there in 1834; query letter in flie 1936 from great great grand-daughter Miss Lucia Key of Cuthbert, Georgia; query letter in file 1936 from descendant Mrs. J.E. Evans, Auburndale, Florida, states soldier's middle name was Clark; query letter in file 1930 from descendant Frances L.
