  2.   I have no proof of the maiden surname of Tabitha, wife of Henry Gatewood and John Holladay (Holliday). As I was adding my information, I simply merged it with an already-existing WeRelate page. However, I don't see how a marriage date of c. 1742 for Tabitha and John Holladay can be correct. Henry Gatewood died in 1777. According to Spotsylvania Co., VA, DB J 1774-1782, page 335, Decr. 13, 1777 - it was on this date that Tabitha Gatewood (widow) and John Holladay (widower) deeded their estates in trust to William Gholson.
