Syrena Grogg Faubion was born in Wray [s/b Clay] county, Missouri, on July 2, 1838, and died on Jan. 12, 1915, at Frederick, Okla. She was 76 years, 6 months and 10 days of age.
In 1853 she was united in marriage to Ezekiah Faubion. To this union were born four children, three boys and one girl, two of whom have passed on before.
In 1858 they moved near Oskaloosa, Jefferson county, Kansas, where they lived until the year 1891, when they came to Seward, Okla. They lived there until four years ago, when they went to Frederick, Okla.
Mrs. Faubion is survived by her husband, one son, J. A. Faubion, Tulsa, Okla., and one daughter, Mrs. S. E. Watson, Seward, Okla., and thirteen grandchildren.
The funeral services were conducted at the home of Mrs. Watson at Seward, Thursday at 10:30, by Rev. Guy H. Findly, pastor of the First Christion church at Guthrie. Interment was made in the family lot at Seward.
