Garnsey, 75, Clayton, R.D.2, widow of F. Thornton Garnsey, died Saturday at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, where she had been a patient since March 23. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Clayton United Methodist Church with Rev. Dale Austin, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Josie) Calhoun, Clayton; seven grandchildren...; a brother, Edwin Clark, Watertown, and nieces and nephews. Born Sept. 7, 1911 in Redfield daughter of Ray and Ada Yurdon Looker, she attended schools at Redfield. She was married to F. Thornton Garnsey on Aug. 22, 1932 at the Methodist Church on Grindstone Island. He died March 3, 1970. She was employed on the island by the Bacon family.
