Oswego Palladium-Times, 26 July 1957: STATE POLICE USE TEAR GAS TO CAPTURE LACONA MAN WHO THREATENS TO KILL FATHER Pulaski-- A 23-year-old Town of Sandy Creek man kept a large number of state police at bay for an hour Thursday afternoon before he was driven from his barricaded house on Wheat Hill... State police identified the man as Walter G. Clark, 23, of Lacona RD 1, who suddenly went berserk about 2:15 p.m. yesterday and threatened his father Ora Clark, before heading for the nearby woods with two rifles. He was committed to Marcy State Hospital... after he had been subdued by the troopers... Troopers said he had a previous record as a patient in a state hospital for the insane, having been confined about four years ago.

Pulaski Banner Times, 17 Mar 1986: ORA CLARK Services for Ora Clark, 77, of Rudd Road, Lacona, who died Wednesday at the arr-Wood Nursing Home, Oswego, on March 5, 1986 were held Saturday, March 8 at the Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, with the Rev. Louis W. Hausele and the Rev. Virgil H. Hager, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek. Born in Redfield, Mr. Clark lived in Adams Center and Watertown before moving to Lacona in 1980. He retired in 1973 from the House of the Good Samaritan Hospital, Watertown, and was also employed with Pinkerton Security Agency. Mr. Clark's wife, the former Teresa Stalker, died in 1979. Surviving are a daughter, Catherine Rudd of Lacona; a son, Walter of Syracuse; a sister, Sylvia Garnsey of Clayton; a brother, Edward of Watertown Center; eight grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
