In the first DebrettAncestry report I had they told of searching the registers of any relevant baptisms in the Old Baptist Chapel, Devizes, and found a record of John Brinsdon`ssecond wife Susanna converting to the Baptist faith; they felt this was the time when the family changed their religion. Minutes from the church book 1841 to 1913 read, on April 30, 1849: `Two of our deacons reported that they had visitedSusanna Brinsdon, and from the testimony she bore, they cordially recommended her to the Church to hear her speak of the Lord`s dealing with her soul, with a view to becoming a member.` And on June 3 the same year: `The members assembled to hear Susanna Brinsdon speak of the Lord`s dealing with her soul ... agreed she should be baptised and received a member in full communion.` She wassubsequently reported to have been present a number of times afterwards, beforeher death in 1874 Burial: Devizes, Wiltshire, England Cause of Death: Heart Disease and congestion of the lung Place of death - 20 Nursery, Devizes, Wiltshire, England (Source: death certificate) Died aged: 69 years.
