    Susan Wooddell was the daughter of Captain John H. Wooddell and Elizabeth Irvine.

    She married John Kiracofe on August 3, 1810 in Augusta County, Virginia. There are various opinions, but many researchers believe John to have been the son of John Frederick Kirshof (immigrant ancestor) and first wife Catherine Wacker.
