According to Susan Seslar Fields' death record, her father was William Seslar, who was born in [Greene] County, Ohio, and her mother was Caroline Chaney, also born in Ohio.

The 1880 census, taken in Silver Creek, Greene County, Ohio, shows Susan & her brother "Nathan" as both being born in 1862 & lists their ages at 18, which, of course, would make them twins. However, other sources use different birth dates. RMC 01/02/2012
