↑ There is a death record in a Worcester hospital 10 Oct 1843 of a married woman named Susan Boyden (here), sent to the hospital "from Canton". It is not clear who this is, but at age 66, her birth would be about 1777. Source:Adams, Andrew N. Genealogical History of Henry Adams, of Braintree, Mass., and His Descendants, p. 329, gives her birth as 12 Dec 1775, but no such record has been found, and there are problems with some of his presentation of this family (see particularly sister Dorcas).
