BIOGRAPHY: The Wildbores in America A Family Tree Originally published in 1907 John Reid Wilbor - Benjamin Franklin Wilbour Published 1933 George W. King Printing Co. Baltimore, Maryland Volume I - Page 45 Stephen Wilbore removed first to Westerly, R. I., and later to Scituate, R. I., where he died in 1760. A deed dated April 3, 1747, whereby he sells land in Little Compton, shows him to have been of Scituate at that time. In his will, dated at Scituate the 14th day of July, 1760, he styles himself as "yeoman' and bequeaths: To wife Mary, the use of one-half of his household goods, excepting his plate, during her natural life. To son Job, 5 shillings, old tenor. To son Abner, 5 shillings and my old gun. To son Jonathan, the sum of 20 pounds. To son Samuel, one-half of all stock of creatures of all sorts. To daughter Anne Rathbone, 10 pounds. To granddaughter Priscilla Rathbone, daughter of above sd. Anne Rathbone, one feather bed and furniture belonging to same. Rest and remainder to estate to three sons, Samuel, Stephen and John. References
