Hall, being of sound mind and memory, calling to mind the frailty and uncertainty of human life, and being desirous of settling my worldly affairs, and directing how my estate or possessions shall be disposed of after my decease, while I have the strength and capacity so to do, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making null and void all other last wills and testaments by me heretofore made. And as to my worldly estate, and all the property, real or personal of which I (?) die seized and possessed, or to which I shall be entitled at the time of my decease, give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Isabell Hall, for and during the term of her natural life, and form and after the decease of my said wife, I give, bequeath and dispose of in the manner and form following, to-wit: First. I want R.H. Hall to have the mill pond meadow and the little rocky knoll (adjoining) his meadow below. This meadow and knoll to be his share of my estate. Second. I want Gordon N. Hall to be paid the sum of Five hundred dollars, $500.00 within three years without interest. Third. I want David O. Hall to be paid the sum of three hundred dollars, $300.00 within three years without interest. Fourth. I want Lousiana F. Hall and Joseph L. Hall to have the remainder of my land in equal shares; also all the farming implements are to remain on the farm to be used by them. Joseph L. Hall to have my rifle gun. Fifth. Lousiana F. Hall is to have all the stock and household property that she claims to be hers; also all the remaining household property is to be hers. I have no indebtedness or money obligations. Any of the legatees named herein becoming dissatisfied with this my will and attempt to break same, or protests, such legatee is not to share any part in my realty or personal property. I hereby appoint J.B. Hall as executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof, I have to this my last will and testament, contained on two sheets of paper, and to each sheet thereof subscribed my name, and to this last sheet thereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal, this the fifth day of September in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred sixteen. S.P. Hall (seal) The above instrument consisting of two sheets, was now here subscribed by S.P. Hall in the presence of each of us; and was at the same time declared by him to be his last will and testament, and we at his request sign our names hereto as attesting witnesses. J.H. Banks, residing at Snake Creek, in Carroll County, Virginia L.C. Webb, residing at Fancy Gap in (left blank) Virginia: In Carroll County Circuit Court Clerk's office Jan. 29, 1917. The foregoing writing, bearing date on the 5th day of September, 1916 purporting to be the true last will and testament of S.P. Hall, deceased was this day produced in the clerk's office before the clerk of the said Court and proven upon the oath of J.H. Banks, one of the subscribing witness thereto, it is ordered that it be and the same hereby is, established, probated and admitted to record as and for the last will and Testament.
