- Stephen Cole of Chester Borough, yeoman. December 26, 1744. January 17, 1744/45. B.173.
- Provides for wife Martha.
- To son Stephen my lott of land in Chester containing about 12 acres when 21, also D10.
- To sons John, James, William and Mark and friends Thos. Cummings and Res Richd. Backhous.
- Witnesses: John Mather, James Mather. [Some of the sons went to Fayetteville, NC about 1758].
