16 Sep 1811 (Billerica): "This will Certify that we the subscribers do agree and are willing that Stephen Barrett Should administer on the Estate of Stephen Barrett Deceas'd we Being heirs." Signed Olive Barrett Widow; John Barrett 2'd son
17 Sep 1811: Memorial of Stephen Barrett of Billerica in the County of Middlesex aforesaid yeoman that Stephen Barrett late of Billerica aforesaid gentleman deceased last dwelt in said County & within thirty days last past died intestate ... leaving a widow who has renounced her right to the said administration & your memorialist his eldest son who is eligible...". Bond dated the same date.
22 Oct 1811: Inventory of the real & personal estate of Stephen Barrett late of Billerica in the County of Middlesex deceased: $2391.72.
6 Oct 1812: Memorial of Jeremiah Patten of Billerica: that administration of said intestate estate [granted] to Stephn Barrett, junior, late of said Billerica, gentleman, now deceased intestate, who did not, in his lifetime, complete the said administration ...and widow ... heirs and divers of the creditors ... requested your memorialist to take on administration de bonis non..." Bond dated the same date.
