"Home Happenings - Mrs. Sophronia Dice, widow of the late Abram Dice, died Tuesday evening from the effects of a stroke of paralysis. The deceased was born in Newton township, Trumbull county in 1822 (1821), consequently was 88 years of age. For many years she and her husband resided on Crane street in this township. Mr. Dice died about 20 (sic 12) years ago. Funeral services held from the M. E. Church Thursday afternoon were conducted by Rev. R. J. Beard. Interment in the village cemetery."

Note: Today (2009) Crane Street is known as Raccoon Road. Her son, Horace Tracy died in 1889 – "20y ago"
