NEHGR article indicates the Lydia Ford who married Roland Bird was the daughter of Solomon Ford and Anne Cook. Indicates Solomon was born 20 May 62 in Abington and died 7 Jan 1849 in Wayne County, N.Y. and was buried in Lock Berlin Cemetery.

In 1805 he purchased 100 acres in Galen Twp, Seneca (now Wayne) County, N. Y., and by persistent hard work developed a thriving farm. He built the first frame house in the area in 1817. The Eric CanaI was built just north of his property and the first boat passed through in 1822. ... Solomon's land transactions are found in Wayne County Deed, 1820-1843.

[NOTE: statement re land transaction between 1820-1843 sounds inconsistent with purchase in 1805 but remember the property was in Seneca County then so transaction must have been in that county's deeds.]

[NOTE: He was the second Solomon born to Andrew and Sarah. The first was born 26 Nov 1746 or 1756 and died 29 Oct 1751.]

Huldah age 19 does not appear to be listed. However, she was not married to Charles Reed until 1812.

It is possible they misplaced her in the 10<16 category in which case Phebe must have died before 1810. We know Huldah and Lydia were alive!

Living very near Charles Reed, daughter Huldah's husband

NOTE: Only two youngest male children are left at home. No indication that Phebe, Tasmania or Eunice married. Since the NEGHR article on Andrew Ford's descendants only cites marriages in Massachusetts, if they lived to adulthood, they probably married in New York.
