Sarah Waite is a POSSIBLE sister of Richard Waits. She was about the same age as Richard (perhaps 8 years or so older than Richard), and there are ties with the Stephenson and Waite families in Augusta County, Virginia.

Some researchers claim that Sarah was a daughter of James Waite, but she was much too old to have been his daughter, although there may be a relationship between the two, as shown above. Additional research is necessary.
