  5.   Source:Hall, David Brainerd. Halls of New England, Genealogical and Biographical, p. 374, appears to get hopelessly confused about Stephen Hall and Sarah Taft. He notes the marriage in 1745, but calls Sarah "widow of Samuel Read, of Uxbridge, and before that the widow of John Brown". No Samuel Read shows a death anytime near this marriage, but Daniel Read d. Feb 1744. Stephen Hall married the widow of Daniel Read, who never married a John Brown, as she married Daniel Read while named Sarah Taft. The Lydia Brown that married Edward Hall of Rehoboth had different parents. See further proof in Daniel's probate, on his page.
