Mrs. Sarah Reighard, one of the oldest persons of the West Chester community, died at the home of her son, George Reighard, in West Chester yesterday morning at 11:30 after a long illness. Mrs. Reighard was a well known woman in her home community and universally respected. She was born in Pennsylvania, July 25, 1828, and was a daughter of John Simpson and Margaret Martin. She was the widow of George Reighard who has been dead for a number of years. The funeral service will be held at the New Haven church tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 and will be in charge of the Rev. Rogers of West Chester. Interment wil be in the New Haven Cemetery.
