Was Sarah Price's sister NANCY PRICE, who married Joseph's brother, JACOB LOWER?

Sarah was apparently a native of Heidelberg Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, from where most of these related "Hirstein" Lowers had migrated.

Below is a map of Washington Township, Wayne County, Indiana. The Valley Grove Cemetery is at the bottom of the map, as indicated by a "+" above what is probably "Lower's Chapel".

She is buried in a row of Lowers, and buried next to her husband, Joseph. The cemetery is located about 4 miles south of Milton.

  4. CENSUS.

By 1860 her's is the only census entry in index of the county. All of the other Lowers have either died, or moved away.

  5. It looks like the 1850 census says she was born in "Vir."
