HASKET, Sara, d.Steephen and Elizabeth, [born] 5 : 12 m : 1673. CT.R. [Note: In old-styles dates, the twelfth month is February. For comparison to the modern calendar, it corresponds to the following year. More info may be found here.]
Samuel Ingersoll [#40] m. (2) 22 Jan 1702 Sarah Haskett, d/o Capt. Stephen Haskett and Elizabeth Langdon, b. 5 Feb 1673.
Source:Torrey, Clarence Almon. New England Marriages Prior to 1700 lists the marriage of "Sarah Haskett (1665-)" in 1684 to a different Samuel Ingersoll. The marriage record in the Salem VRs (p. 3:537) lists the wife as Sarah ---, while "Sarah Haskit" m. 1702 this Samuel Ingersoll. One of Torrey's sources is Source:Perley, Sidney. History of Salem, Massachusetts, Vol. 1, p. 131 which "lacks date", but that page lists the wife of Torrey's Samuel Ingersoll as "Sarah ---", while this Samuel Ingersoll shown on p. 1:132 m. 29 Jul 1702 Sarah Haskett. Likewise he has represented the reverse of the presentation found in Source:Avery, Lillian Drake. Genealogy of the Ingersoll Family in America, 1629-1925, p. 9, another of his cited sources (this Samuel is on p. 16). No birth of Sarah Haskett in 1665 has been located and while the rest of Torrey's sources haven't been checked since he appears to have made an editing error, and his answer appears wrong.
