If so, then she is a daughter of Daniel and Elizabeth (Davis) Gard. The information that Sarah was a daughter of Jeremiah is probably based on J. Percy Crayon's "Rockaway Records" which erroneously lists Jeremiah as the father of practically every Gard in Morris County. More information about Sarah, including her ancestry and data on her eleven children can be found on Narda Gard McNally's web site: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Fields/4106/ http://home.pacbell.net/gardm/gard.htm http://home.pacbell.net/gardm/external_links.htm#gardmation on her site and I recommended it highly.f Joseph and Mary Gard of Stonington and a brother of Jeremiah. As for Joseph, it seems very likely that he was a son of John Gard of New London and Stonington. The early generations of the Gard family in America are not well documented, but next month's Guardian newsletter (edited by Margie Gard Gray) will contain an article on the descendants of Roger Gard which I hope will help clear up the current confusion. If you have any questions to which you can't find answers on Narda's web site, I will do my best to answer them if you e-mail me at:sword.net (home) - OR -
