Sarah2 Edson, second child and daughter of Deacon Samuel Edson (#1) and Susannah Orcutt, born in Salem, Mass. about 1641, married, Nov. 7, 1663, in Bridgewater, Plymouth Colony, John Dean, son of John and Alice Dean, born in Taunton, Plymouth Colony, about 1639. He was, according to tradition, the first white child born in Taunton. She died in Taunton Feb. 18, 1717, aged 76 years, he having died July 9, 1692."
