No records have been found for Sarah's birth or baptism. Her age at marriage and death would indicate that she was born before 1844. However, the fact that her mother, a widow, married a much younger man in 1844 in Hobart seems to indicate that she would have been born around then. As Sarah was quite a bit younger than her husband, and still a minor at the time of her marriage, she may have put her age up then.

1852 - Sarah and her mother went to Williamstown, Victoria from Hobart, Tasmania on 18 February 1852 on board the Margaret Brock.

1927 - Cause of death was given as Cardio-Vascular Degeneration, Exhaustion (1 Month).
