    Mrs. W. A. Kenton passes away at New Richmond. Mrs. W. A. Kenton died at her home at New Richmond, Ohio, Sunday morning, following a protracted illness. The remains were brought to this county Monday afternoon and funeral services held at Foster Chapel with internment following in the Chapel Cemetary. Mrs. Kenton was a daughter of the late Washington Bratton of Pinhook and was a refined and intelligent lady and had a host of friends wherever she was known. She moved with her family to Ohio several years ago. Her husband and one son, F. V. Kenton survive her, also two grandchildren, William Kenton, Jr., and Mrs. William Insko of New Richmond. See Chapel and Zion items for extended notice. (same paper) Mrs. Sarah Kenton who has been ill for some time, passed away Sunday morning at her home in New Richmond, Ohio. Sarah Washington, daughter of the late G. W. and Salie Ann Asbury Bratton, was born Aug. 4, 1861; died Feb. 3, 1935, aged 73 years, 5 months and 29 days. On Sept. 20, 1883, she was united in marriage to W. A. Kenton. To this union 4 sons were born, three dying in infancy. She was born and spent her girlhood days near this place and for 8 years taught in our public schools. In 1917 she moved with her family near New Richmond, Ohio. Mrs. Kenton was devoted to her home and family and numbered her acquaintances as friends. She has been a member of Foster Chapel since a gril and left a testimony that she was ready to go. Besides her husband, one son, F. V. Kenton and two grandchildren, Wm. Kenton, Jr., and Mrs. Wm. Insko, survive. She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. D. T. VanHook and Mrs. G. M. Insko; also 4 nephews, Harry Bratton of Colorado, Nelse Bratton of Maysville and Lisle Insko of Bratton; two nieces, Mrs. Charles Bramel and Mrs. Silas Jacobs, and a great nephew, Jack Jett of Bratton. Funeral services were conducted at this place Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock by D. C. Insko, assisted by Rev. K E. Hill and Taylor Berry. Mr. White of New Richmond read "When I Cross the Bar." Interment in family lot adjoining church. Casket bearers; Bert Insko, J. A. Dryden, Nelse Bratton, Silas Jacobs, Jack Jett and Charlie Bramel. We extend our sympathy to the family and loved ones.
