    Suddenly on January the 9th, at Winnipeg General Hospital, Wilfred R (Wilf) Moffat, aged 56 years, beloved husband of Sadie Moffat of 30 Linden Ave, East Kildonan. Born in Winnipeg, Mr Moffat served in the R C A F during the Second World War and was associated with Manitoba Pool Elevators for the past twenty-five years. He was very well known in Musical circles and had served as Secretary Treasurer for the Manitoba Musical Association. Fraternally he was a member and past master Capital Lodge NO. 136 A.P & A.M . Surviving besides his wife Sadie and four daughters, <names ofg living individuals have been removed> of Winnipeg.; Two brothers, Ernie and Lloyd both of Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held at 2:15 pm. Wednesday from the Clark Leatherdale Funeral Home, 232 Kennedy Street with Reverend Ross William officiating. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery.

    SARAH GARDINER MOFFAT (BLAIR) 1918 - 2002 Sarah Moffat died peacefully on February 26, 2002 at Concordia Hospital. "Sadie" was born in Scotland and immigrated as a child to Winnipeg in 1926. Her passion for music led her to find pianist - love, Wilfred Ross Moffat, whom she married in 1948. Together they moved to East Kildonan to raise their family. She was a longtime member of John Black Memorial United Church where she sang in the church choir for close to 40 years. She also sang with the Seniors Choir of Winnipeg. Mom will always be present in the hearts of daughters, <names of living individuals ahve been removed> as well as those of her grandchildren, <names of living individuals ahve been removed.> "WE LOVE YOU MOM - GRANDMA" In lieu of flowers, donations to John Black Foundation, 898 Henderson Hwy. would be gratefully accepted. A celebration of Sadies life will be held on Saturday, March 2 at 11:00 a.m. at John Black Memorial United Church, 898 Henderson Hwy. "EVER REMEMBERED - EVER LOVED" Arrangements entrusted to Klassen Funeral Chapel, 338-0331.
