Disowned by Menallen for joining some other religion. From The Records of J. Warren Mickle, 3615 Rutherford St., Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, revised by: Robert L. Cable, 689 Wyndamere Road, Lewisberry, Pennsylvania 17339. Samuel Mickle (Mickel), Jr. lived between Hunterstown and Newchester on a small farm which was a part of a larger tract owned by his father. The entire family is buried at Rock Chapel, a Methodist Church built in 1773 and located 1/2 mile north, off Route 15 between York Springs and Heidlersburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania. References
