"In the vital records of Dedham is the death of Samuel Lusher on 30 Dec. 1638, but no relation to Eleazer is stated. That he was in fact son of Eleazer, and that the Eleazer married in Pulham was the Dedham man, is made more likely by the following baptism, found in the parish register of Starston, co. Norfolk, the parish immediately to the east of Pulham St. Mary the Virgin: 'Samuell the son of Eleazer Lusher and Ann his wife was baptized the 16th of August 1629.'"
