    "63. Samuel4 … was born in Stonington, Conn., and baptized there 26 September 1686, the son of George and Mercy (Gorham) Denison. Samuel died in Saybrook, Conn., 2 June 1724. … In the estate records of Samuel Denison of Saybrook, the inventory, dated 18 August 1724, listed the names and ages of Samuel's children as Sarah, aged 14, Samuel, aged 12, George and March, twins, aged 6, Christopher, aged 4, and Gideon, aged 9 months. There was no mention of an unborn child which would seem to eliminate a son named Stephan, born 6 February 1725, as given in the Gorham MS 1:120B."
