I am seeking to know if anyone has information about the 1st child of this marriage, James Casey, b. 1813. My earliest definite Casey ancestor is James Hill Casey, b. 1813 in Spartanburg, SC. This couple (Samuel and Ruth) were married (according to this documentation) in TN, so their first child being born in SC is less likely...but not impossible. Does anyone have any information about this James Casey that might disprove that he could be my ancestor?

3. Hiram Casey4 (Samuel3, Randolph2, Abner1 of Ireland). I cannot distinguish between this Hiram and his cousin, son of Randolph Jr. His mother was Ruth Gilbert. He married Mary Jane Wooley, Nov. 7, 1839. May have moved to MO.
