About Salvatore F. Pepe

Salvatore F. Pepe was an Assistant Vice President for Global Technology at Marsh & McLennan, but to the Pepe clan he will be remembered as the originator of Tomatofest (he would gather his family, buy eight to 10 bushels of tomatoes and continue the canning tradition his mother started decades ago) and the Pepe family calendar. He was one of the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2011. Salvatore was working on the 97th floor in first tower to be attacked at the World Trade Center in New York City, New York on the morning of the attacks.

Salvatore Pepe was one of 285 employees and 63 consultants of Marsh & McLennan that lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. [1]
