  15. "Mrs Salinda Zellers died at her home, 3 1/2 miles south of Kirby,Saturday morning at 10:30oclock. Death was due to plural pneumonia, withwhich she had been ill the past week. Mrs Zellers, whose maiden name wsMiss Salinda Shirk, was the daughter of Elias and Polly Shirk, bothdeceased, and was born in Crawford county January 6, 1852, being aged 70years, 3 months and 1 day at the time of death. In 1870 she was unitedin marriage to William Zellers, who survives. They resided in Crawfordcounty one year and then moved to Wyandot county, where they have livedsince. To this union were born six children, namely, Larca, wife ofWilliard Stansberry, and Mrs Joseph Stansberry, both of nearBrownstown; Lula, wife of William Schoenberger, of this city; IsaacZellers, of Cleveland; John Zellers of east of town, and Guy Zellers,near Kirby. Besided her husband and children Mrs. Zellers leaves fivesisters, Mrs John Cross of Cleveland; Mrs John Williams, of Toledo; MrsJohn Franlick, of Brokensword; Mrs. Louis Carl of near Bucyrus, and MissJane Shirk of Cleveland; eighteen grandchildren and onegreat-grandchild. The funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 10 oClockat the Salem Methodist Episcopal church, conducted by Rev L R Minion.Burial will be made in the Salem cemetery."
