I received this letter from "Karen Zellers" <zelmo@mediaone.net>:" Thisis the first site I have come across with the Zellers name from StarkCounty OH. I have been searching for Zellers relatives from this areafor a long time and never could find a connection. I have a John H.Zellers dob 1841, Frederick M. Zellers born June 10, 1850 (myconnection) and Elizabeth born 1846,, I was wondering if you came acrossthem in your research..."

Guy, in error, lists the parents ofWilliam as "Henry Zeller" and "Mary Sponseller", easy to understandsince they had both passed away by the time he was seven years old

- ↑ On March 22, 1930, William's son, John, applied for guardianship andattempted to have William declared and imbecile in Wyandot Countycourts. A hearing was set for March 29, 1930. At the hearing John listsWilliam has no personal property, but that he has 160 acres worthestimated $10,000, with probable rents of $500. John Zeller then camebefore the court on April 9, 1930 and dismissed his action
- ↑ "William Zeller, aged eighty two years, died at his home south of Kirby,Saturday morning at 1oclock after an illness since last October with acomplication of diseases. Mr Zeller was born in Canton, Jan 4, 1849 theson of Isaac and Mary Sponseller Zeller. He was married to Miss SalindaShirk, who preceded her husband in death. Three sons and three daughterswere born to this union, the following of whom survive: Isaac Zeller, ofCleveland; John Zeller of near this city; Guy Zeller at home; Mrs. LulaSchoenberger, of this city, and Mrs. Blanche Stansberry, of Brownstown.Larkie Zeller, a daughter, is deceased. Mr Zeller leaves eighteengranchildren, seven great grandchildren, two brothers residing inCalifornia, and a sister, residing in Canton. Two brothers and onesister prededed Mr. Zeller in death. Mr Zeller was a member of aReformed church at Canton and had followed the occupation of farming. Hewas a kind neighbor and friend and will be missed in the community inwhich he resided. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at theZeller residence, at 2 oclock. Burial will be made in the SalemMethodist Episcopal cemetery."
