According to the Shankland Family Research by Albert Shankland, Salina (or Celena) married Alfred T. James in 1857 but had no children.

 She is living with her uncle Kendall Shankland in the 1850 census as 'Celina Shankland'.
 In the 1860 census for Lebanon, Boone Co., Indiana, Salina and Alfred James, ages 25 from Kentucky, are living next door to her uncle Kendall. {p.664}
 In the 1870 census for Center, Lebanon, Boone Co., Indiana, Alfred James is 35 b. Indiana 'keeps toll gate' and Salina is 35 from Indiana. {p. 20}
 I believe she is in the 1880 census for Watseka, Iroquois Co., Illinois. The head of household is Rensalaer Adsit, retired farmer, age 71 from New York (parents New York). Wife Mary [(Lee) Shankland?] is 73, born Ohio, (parents Maryland).  Step-daughter 'Salena James', is 45, born Kentucky (father Pennsylvania, mother Ohio), widowed.  {p.246d, NARA T9-0214}  Mary's sons Arthur and Johnson are also in Iroquois Co in 1880.
 In the 1900 census for Hoopeston, ward 1, Grant, Vermillion Co., Illinois, Salina James is 65, born Feb 1835 in Kentucky (parents Ohio), widowed, seamstress, boarding with (Harry?) Baker family. {ed 84, sh 1b, p. 124}
 In the 1910 census for Deer Creek, Cass Co., Indiana, Frank P. Chrisman is 49 born Indiana (father Germany, mother Virginia) married once for 14 years, farmer; wife Martha is 40 born Illinois (parents Indiana), with 0 of 1 child living.  Aunt Celina [Shankland] James is 75 born Indiana (parents same), widow, with 0 of 0 children living. {ed 35, sh 13a, p. 89}
 In the 1920 census for Ward, Randolph Co., Indiana, Frank P.
