- ↑ "Mrs. Sadie Pearl Sherman, 77, wife of Ray S. Sherman, passed away at herhome in Jersey, Pataskala Route 1, Tuesday evening following a two-yearillness. Born June 8, 1887, she was the daughter of Frank and ElizabethWhite Gieseck, Mink Street, rural Pataskala. She lived her entire lifein this area. Mrs. Sherman was a member of the Jersey PresbyterianChurch. Surviving are her husband; two sons, G. Arthur Sherman ofLyndon, Harold R. of Pataskala; three grandchildren, threegreat-grandchildren, three brothers, Frank Gieseck of Columbus, Henryand Irvin Gieseck of Pataskala and a sister, Mrs. Georgia Michael ofColumbus. Services were held at the Thurston Funeral Home Saturdaymorning, the Rev. Lloyd W. Tuttle officiating. Interment Pataskalacemetery."
