WILLIAM, Plymouth, came in the Fortune 1621, with w[ife]. Elizabeth m[arried]. at Leyden, as his sec[ond]. w[ife]. 13 Aug. 1611, being the earliest m[ention]. of any of our pilgrims in that foreign l[an]d. had Sarah, William, and Elizabeth count[ed]. in the div[ision]. of cattle 1627, but neither of the three is reckon[ed]. in the div[ision]. of l[an]d. 1623, so that we may believe they were b[orn]. in the interval, liv[ing]. at Duxbury in 1637, and was rep[resentative]. 1640, and four y[ea]rs. more; in 1652, with Gov[ernor]. Bradford and others join[ed]. in purch[asing]. of Dartmouth, rem[oved]. to Bridgewater, and d[ied]. 1667. Other ch[ildren]. beside a sec[ond]. William, were Nathaniel, Ruth, Jane, and Joseph. His d[aughter]. Sarah m[arried]. 1648, Peregrine White; and Elizabeth m[arried]. 8 Nov. of the same y[ea]r. Thomas Burge.
