Roy Hinkle, 58, of West Terre Haute died at 9:15 a.m. Friday,Feb. 11, 2000, in Union Hospital. He was a truck driver forseveral years with Jadcorp, and was currently employed byBestway Trucking Co. He was born March 5, 1941 to Mack Hinkleand Frances L. Howell Hinkle. Survivors include his wife, RuthAnn Kisner Hinkle, whom he married April 7, 1990, in West TerreHaute; two daughters, Wendy Uhls of Phoenix and Sarina Hinkle ofNew York; two stepdaughters, Angela Elkins and Christina Elkins,both of West Terre Haute; two sons, Roy Hinkle II of West TerreHaute and Casey Hinkle of Phoenix; one stepson, Jim Bob Elkinsof West Terre Haute; two brothers, David Hinkle of West TerreHaute and Richard Hinkle of Georgia; one sister, MargieDickerson of West Terre Haute; and four grandchildren, MarshallUhls, Dylan John Uhls, Levi Uhls and Vincent Wade Hinkle. He waspreceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gene Hinkle andRon Hinkle; and two sisters, Catherine Dickerson and BirdieHinkle. Services are 2 p.m. Sunday in Fitzpatrick-Pearce FuneralHome, with the Rev. Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial is inBethesda Memorial Park. with graveside military rites byVeterans of Foreign Wars Post 6574. Visitation is 10 a.m. untilservices Sunday.
