Roelof Martense Schenck, Will dated 4 Sep,1704, proved 3 Aug, 1705, recorded in NY Surrogates office, Book 7, p 209.
He obtained a patent for 23 morgens at Flatlands. He held the position of magistrate between 1662 and 1664. He was a representative in the Hempstead convention in 1665. He 200 acres on March 19, 1674 at Amersfort, Kings County, New York. He gave oath of allegiance in 1678 at Flatlands, Kings County, New York. He held the position of justice of the peace, 1684, 1689, and 1692 in 1684. He held the position of sheriff of the county in 1685. He bought of a brother one-half of mill and the island on which it stood on April 20, 1688. He was Captain of Horse in 1690. He left a will on September 4, 1704.
