In 1651, Robert is chosen a Deputy to the Colonial Assembly. In 1652, is chosen Surveyor of bridges; also elected by the Assembly "General Sarjeant" (High Sheriff) to attend upon the sessions of the Court. Robert was recorded as an inhabitant on June 5, 1648. On May 20, 1671 he took oath of allegiance at Kings Town. He was" killed by the Indians in the late war," as the records state. source: Gen. Dictionary of Rhode Island p 416.

  1.   1618 just does not make sense as a birth date for Robert. The marriage record of 5 Oct 1619 is well documented. Thus Robert must have been born after Damaris and Samuel. Say about 1624.
