!This indenture made the 18th day of May in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy between Robert Stuart, Junior and Elizabeth, his wife, of the County of Culpeper and Colony of Virginia of the one party and Benjamin Pulliam of the same county and colony of the other part witnesseth that the said Robert Stuart, Junior and Elizabeth, his wife, for and in consideration of the sum of seventy one pounds have given grantes bargained and sold (---?) (---?) and confirm unto Benjamin Pulliam one certain piece or parcel of land containing three hundred and fifty one acres which was conveyed to the said Robert Stuart by deed of gift the 15th of October One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty Seven sutuate lying and being in the County of aforesaid and Brummfield Parish in the Gourd Vine Fork of Rappahannock River on Beaver Dam run and bounded as followeth Viz. Beginning at tan white oak and a red oak corner to Joseph Strother and runs thence north seventy six degrees west... in Thorton's line... dead chesnut corner to Capt. John Strother... with all houses ways water and water courses profits and envolements whatsoever to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining and the reversion and reversions remainder and reaminders rents issues and profits therof and every part and parcel thereof and all the estate right title interred property claim and demands whatsoever of him the said Robert Stuart, Jun and Elizabeth, his wife, in and to the said land and premises and every part and parcel therof... to said Benjamin Pulliam his heirs and assigns... In witness whereof the said parties to these present have hereunto set their hands and seals the day of year first above written.
