- Page 478.--1st March, 1785. Thomas Stevenson's will--To son-in-law, George Poage, 1 shilling; to grandson, George Poage, 1 shilling; to grandson, John Poage; to Agness Reed; to Joseph Hannah; to Deborah Reed; to Isabel Reed; to Alex. Reed; what money Henry King owes to be given to the poor if got from him; 20 shillings to pale in the church yard; to Robert Reed, Jr. Executors, Alex. Reed and David Gibson. Teste: John Campbell, Thomas Willson, Jno. Dixon. Proved, 16th August, 1785, by Wilson and Dixon. Executors qualify.
- Vol. 2 - Walker vs. Campbell (Connelly)--O. S. 20; N. S. 7--Bill filed in Augusta, 1789. Isabella and Barbara Walker, infants, by Hugh Donaghe, against Robert and Elizabeth Walker et als. Oratrices were daughters of Alexander Walker, who died testate in Augusta; will dated 20th November, 1774; bill for settlement. Administrators' accounts show, 1774, cash paid Thomas Connelly, husband to Margaret (daughter of Alexr.). May, 1793, abates as to Isabella by her marriage with Robert Reed.

Robert Reed Jr. Robert, the second, is first mentioned in Chalkley's volume II as a tithable along with his father in 1783. He married Isabella Walker in Augusta County on January 19, 1790. He remained in the same area all his life. There are several deed transactions, all in the same area. He died in 1835.
