From Patricia Prickett Hickin: "Robbie moved to Mississippi at an early age to live with his mother’s sister, Paulina, and her husband, Walter Bridgforth, an attorney in Pickens, Mississippi. Bridgforth had taken a great liking to young Robbie and suggested the move. Robbie later served in World War I, then entered the insurance business. He was married and divorced in the 1930s-1940s. He had no children."
