From Patricia Prickett Hickin: "Nancy Belle was unmarried and lived at the home place in Rural Retreat until her younger sister, Lulu, died. After her mother’s death in 1928, Nancy Belle became a seamstress in a local clothing plant. After Lulu’s death, she lived with two of her nieces, first with Shirley Miller in Marion, Smyth Co., VA; then with Bessie Miller Bedwell, in Dinwiddie, Dinwiddie Co., VA."
