On September 21, 1852, Robert McMurray Morrow of Mecklenburg County, NC, bought a farm of 102 acres from Richard Freeze. The farm was inthe Rock Cut Township of Iredell County (now the Shiloh Township) andjoined the lands of John Bost, Whaley, Morrison, Levi Bost and Houston (Iredell Deed Book 1, page 19).
