John's inheritance also passed to him. Adm. of gr.mo.'s est. 12 Nov. 1655. He m. Elizabeth, dau. of Wm. Taylor of Bradley, co. Hants, and had ch. b. in England: John, ag. 5 in 1664, came with his fa. … and d. unmar. in Va., drowned on a voyage, aft. 1690; not named in br. Robert's will … Elizabeth, named in Robert's will 1692 as E. T., but not ment. In fam. chart 1738 (Masonian Papers 1: 36). R. T. M. came to N. H. In 1680, Councillor for the Prov., signed the treaty of peace with the Ind. 8 Sept. 1685, and was of the Council of N. E. under Dudley and Andros. … He d. at Esopus on the Hudson 6 Sept. 1688, while visiting those settlements with Andros, and his claims to N. H., which he had steadily pressed, his sons sold to Samuel Allen, Esq.(13), by a conveyance eventually held illegal."
