From the "Lambdin Chronicles", pg. 26:

Robert Lambdin's will, written in 1680, instructs his executors, Robert Fortune and William Jones, "to take my son (who was under age at the time) and rear the boy and give him and education". (Talbot County Hall of Records, 1692)

Robert Lambdin (ca. 1628-1684) left the colony of Virginia on 5 Feb. 1663 (Greer 1912, Skordas 1968) to enter into "headrights" with Captain Josiah Fendell to immigrate to Maryland and present their claims. Several records exist in Virginia and Maryland that documents the purchase and sale of several parcels of land, gifts to organizations, business deals and a host of other activities by the Lambdins during this era.
