Bit of history: Marion County proper was created by an act of the Virginia Assembly on January 14, 1842, from parts of Monongalia and Harrison Counties

Early names for the town of Monongah were Briartown and then Camdensburg, for Senator Johnson N. Camden. The post office was first known as Clarkson.

Note that Robert's dau Malissa married a Shaver. Checking other wills in Marion County, I found a will by an A. E. Jackson, wife Emma, whose 1955 will was witnessed by a Regina O. Shaver.
