GRAHAM — Mr. Robert Lacy Holt Sr., 80, of 2355 Lacy Holt Road, Graham, died at his residence on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 10:10 p.m. following a brief illness.

A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Betty Parker Holt and the son of Lacy R. Holt and Betty Russell Holt, both deceased. He was a retired employee of Culp Fabrics and a member of Bellemont United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Mr. Robert L. Holt Jr. and wife, Kathy, of Graham; a sister, Mrs. Helen H. Kellam of Graham; a brother, Mr. John Wallace Holt of Winston-Salem; and two grandchildren, Dustin Holt and Kristin Holt.

The funeral will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Jerry Jackson. Burial will follow in Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home in Graham on Saturday from 1 until 2 p.m., and at other times they will be at the residence of the son, Robert L. Holt Jr., 2355 Lacy Holt Road, Graham, N.C.

Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, N.C. 27215.
