1. There is conflicting information about Robert's place of death. He is believed to have resided in Washington Co. all his life, but Chapman's History of Pike County, Il says that one of his sons, Seth, was born in Pike Co. The 1850 and 1860 Pike Co. Census have Seth b in Ill.
2. Dutcher reports Robert and Mary buried in "Gard Cemetery, Ohio"; it seems more likely that this is actually the Gard Cemetery in Pike Co, IL.
3. GenCircles gives birthplace Barlow Twp., Washngton Co, Ohio.
